NRS Homeowner Satisfaction Award

In 2004, NRS awarded Boardwalk Builders a NRS Homeowner Satisfaction Award for acclaimed residential craftsmanship based on homeowner satisfaction. Rated second highest nationwide among all other remodelers, Boardwalk Builders’ customers rated the firm as 98.94% in overall satisfaction and 100% willingness to recommend Boardwalk to friends.

 NHQ Silver Award

Also in 2004, Boardwalk Builders won the prestigious national NHQ Silver Award for Commitment to Quality Remodeling, following an extensive on-site expert review of Boardwalk’s craftsmanship and design capabilities, business management, operational, sales, and warranty practices.

Please Note

Boardwalk Builders has fulfilled the requirements to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TCSA) Section 402, and has received certification to conduct lead-based paint renovation, repair & painting activities pursuant to 40CRF Part 745.89.  This certification (NAT-20605-0) guarantees certified lead renovators will supervise lead-safe work practices. Each lead carpenter is a certified Lead Renovator in accordance with these regulations. 

Common renovation activities such as sanding, cutting, and demolition can create hazardous lead dust and chips by disturbing lead-based paint, which can be harmful.

To protect against this risk, on April 22, 2008, EPA issued the Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule. It requires that firms performing renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in pre-1978 homes, child care facilities and schools be certified by EPA and that they use certified renovators who are trained by EPA-approved training providers to follow lead-safe work practices.
