North Beach Cottage

The beach has been this family’s gathering place for generations, and their new home was designed to accommodate the tradition for generations to come. The Dutch-gambrel roof massing harkens back to shingle-style homes in the Hamptons. The Pella windows and the cedar shingle siding & roofing complete the traditional styling of the exterior. The interior makes extensive use of pine paneling & flooring, evoking the turn-of-the-century charm of a classic beach cottage. Design by Louise Brooks.
