Cassidy McDaniel

With a grandfather in commercial construction and an aunt in residential construction, it only makes sense that Cassidy McDaniel continued the family tradition. After graduating from Wilmington University with a degree in Communication and Media Studies, Cassidy worked as a Jill-of-all-trades at a number of different local establishments.

Before starting at Boardwalk Builders, she owned and operated her own business as the Fractional General Manager for a handful of local trade partners and subcontractors here in Sussex County. During this time, she learned a great deal about running a business while also developing relationships and connections in the local construction industry. 

After a few years, she decided to bring her unmatched experience and unique training to Boardwalk Builders by accepting a position as General Manager. Under the careful eye of Founder Patty McDaniel, Cassidy learned how to be successful in business while still delivering the high-quality services and products that Patty and the team had become known for.

When Patty was ready to retire, she knew that Kelsey and her cousin Cassidy were the perfect people to continue the legacy she had worked so hard to build. In January 2023, Cassidy and Kelsey finalized the paperwork to officially claim their new roles as Co-Owners of Boardwalk Builders. 

When she isn’t in the office, Cassidy loves to spend time with her long-term partner Shay, their three girls, and their pup, Ziggy. Family ties and tradition are strong for Cassidy, and she is proud to raise her family along the shores of Rehoboth Beach.
